Cyisma is operated by Joe Ashworth, an individual trading as Cyisma, with a principal place of business in London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Cyisma”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

  1. Data we collect • Account data: name, email address, password, profile picture (if you upload one) • Payment data: processed only by Stripe and/or PayPal – we never see or store full card numbers • Transaction data: what you bought or sold, price, date, messages with other users • Skill files & listings: files you upload, descriptions, screenshots, license choices • Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on site • Communication data: emails or messages you send us via support or the platform

  2. How we use your data We only use it to: • run your account and the marketplace • process payments and pay Sellers • prevent fraud and abuse • improve the site • comply with tax and legal requirements • send very rare service updates (never marketing) – you can opt out anytime

We do NOT sell your personal data and we do NOT use it for advertising.

  1. Who we share data with • Stripe and/or PayPal (payments) • ShareTribe (our platform provider – hosted in the EU) • Secure cloud storage (EU or UK regions) • Privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no Google Analytics) • Authorities only if required by law

  2. International transfers When data leaves the UK/EEA we protect it with the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

  3. How long we keep data • Account & transaction data: until you delete your account + 6–7 years (UK tax law) • Deleted accounts: removed or anonymised within 30 days

  4. Your rights You can ask us at any time to: • show you your data • correct it • delete it • restrict processing • give you a portable copy Just email joe@cyisma.com – we reply within 7–30 days. UK/EU users can also complain to the ICO. California users have the same rights under CCPA/CPRA plus the right to non-discrimination.

  5. Security We use encryption, HTTPS everywhere, encryption at rest, and regular security checks.

  6. Cookies Only strictly necessary cookies and privacy-friendly analytics (no tracking cookies).

  7. Children Cyisma is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

  8. Changes If we make big changes we will email you or show a notice on the site.
